Currency Adversaries

This semester I am working on a single-frame animation film where I will show historical conflicts between countries and their adversaries. I want to use the country's currency as it's character in my film. While researching this idea, I found several examples that could help illustrate the ideas I want. The boar wars were two wars fought between Britain and the two independent Boer republics, the Orange Free State and the South African Republic (Transvaal Republic). The Battle of the Alamo is another example between the Mexican troops under the president of Mexico and about one hundred Texians. After reading these I was beginning to think of the money invested into these wars and thought of illustrating a actual battle between these countries currency. Using Coins, notes, marks and maybe stamps I want to reenact these battles.
